Ralf is a global Human Capital Consultant and Executive with more than 20 years of business experience across a wide spectrum of HR generalist and specialist roles (Strategy, Leadership, Talent, Learning, Resourcing, Organizational Development, Knowledge Mgt). Working with global market leaders in the Professional and Financial Services Industries, he has built world-class HR-organizations and created thought leadership and award winning programmes that connect business strategy with people and build a high performance culture that deliver results. As the Chairman of the International Consortium for Executive Development and Research (ICEDR) and a Founding Board Member of the European Corporate Learning Forum he takes an active interest in the development of the HR Profession. He founded Better Business (2B) to help top teams create the Leadership Culture and Alignment needed to build sustainable businesses that deliver results with a purpose.

Having witnessed the meltdown of Enron/Anderson, the demise of many strong brands during the financial crises and the increasing global pressure on companies to re-build public trust, I passionately believe, that the ability to create sustainable competitive advantage goes beyond shortterm profitability and excellence of product (What) or process (How). Increasingly it depends on the core of the brand itself– its purpose (Why).. The (response-)ability to deliver an authentic brand experience to all stakeholders through people (being) has become the key to a differentiated brand and long-term success. In our interdependent/networked knowledge society everything will rest on our ability to build meaningful trust-based relationships with our clients, our people, our vendors and society at large…This all starts with being Responsible Leaders.
