Rudolf Woetzel

Rudolf started his professional life as a strategic management consultant and moved into M&A advisory business thereafter. For 15 years, he led the execution of corporate transactions across industries (food and healthcare, general and medical engineering, automotive, real estate, publishing, consumer goods) and worked in various regions (Frankfurt, Zurich, Berlin, Paris, Sao Paulo, Madras).

Burn-out and personal crisis forced Rudolf to explore new professional paths: after a 6 months outer and inner journey, hiking and climbing through the Alps from Salzburg to Nice, he became a hiking guide; thereafter, he wrote a bestseller about his own transformation; he also opened and ran a Swiss mountain hotel.

Today, Rudolf is “back in the valley” to support corporate leaders and entrepreneurs in their transformation and pursuit of a self-determined and authentic professional and personal evolution. This encompasses both, re-inspiration for existing positions or exploration into new areas of professional fulfilment.

As a consultant and banker, my mindset on my career path was clear and narrow: I believed that superior intelligence, perseverance and hard work were key for success on the corporate ladder. Climbing higher was the ultimate goal for my life. What I really stood for, what I really wanted in life, what my emotions and intuitions were, and how I could nurture meaningful professional and team relationships were completely out of my interest zone. Nature and honest inward-looking have taught me that those questions need to be answered before people can find their purpose and fulfilment. I believe in a holistic executive development approach where the corporate realities and the softer personality issues need to be bridged.

My purpose is to synthesize my professional and personal life experiences in order to help executives to free and utilize their full potential as leaders and human beings.
