Hylke Faber

Hylke is an affiliate partner of SUM. He is a master facilitator of individual and team performance transformation. He has supported leaders and top teams of Fortune 500 companies across a range of industries (e.g., Information Technology, Pharmaceuticals, Financial Services) as well as several non-profit organizations to increase awareness of and build skills in behaviors, mindsets and team dynamics that enhance their effectiveness and personal fulfillment. In the early part of his career, Hylke was the stereotypical hard charging strategy consultant, working 16 hour days, hitting all the “success benchmarks,” but also burning out at a rapid clip. He discovered then that integrating mindfulness into his work could help him achieve joy and balance at a personal level AND be more effective at work. This inspired him to specialize in enabling personal and organizational transformations. Hylke is a trained opera singer. He also has deep interest in the spiritual and philosophical traditions of many cultures. He incorporates this knowledge, his professional training in coaching and facilitation as well as his skills as a musician to create experiential programs that create deep personal and interpersonal mindset and behavioral shifts. He is publishing a book in 2012 with the working title “Your Intuition at Work: Unleashing the Little Voice Inside.”
